Fiber Tape

Drywall joint  tape is made of woven fiberglass mesh that is coated with pressure-sensitive adhesive latex. It is an ideal material for plasterboard jointing,Fiber Cement Board, repairing cracks and damages, interior and exterior wall repairing and decoration of modern buildings. Fiber Tape has features like high tensile strength, excellent alkaline resistance, deformation resistance, perfect chemical stability, and great self-adhesive properties.

By using drywall joint fiber tape, there is no need to do pre-embedding. It’s easy to conceal the joints or cracks and can create smooth finishing without blisters or bubbles. Furthermore, it’s non-organic, high tensile strength which can prevent the possible cracks for many years.

Advantages Of Fiber Tape

  • Adhesive-Mesh drywall tape has a tacky backing, allowing it to be self-stuck to the wall. Paper tape needs to be embedded in a layer of joint compound. This means that mesh tape is easier for the average person to install on a flat length of wall.
  •  Mositure Concern-Mesh tape, being fiberglass, is more mold-resistant than paper tape. For this reason, it’s a good choice for bathrooms, backsplashes and any location that might be exposed to water.
