Roofing Shingles

An Asphalt Roofing shingle is a type of wall or roofing shingles that uses ashphalt for waterproofing. It is one of the most widely used roofing covers in North America because it has a relatively inexpensive up-front cost and is fairly simple to install.

Roofing Shingles are Fiberglass reinforcement was devised as the replacement for asbestos in organic mat shingles. Fiberglass shingles have a base layer of glass fiber reinforcing mat made from wet, random-laid glass fibers bonded with Urea formaldehyde resign. The mat is then coated with asphalt containing mineral fillers to make it waterproof. Such shingles resist fire better than those with organic/paper mats, making them eligible for as high as a class “A” rating. Weight typically ranges from 1.8 to 2.3 pounds/square foo

WHY ALUMINIUM ROOFING?

Thanks to its strength, beauty and recyclability, Aluminium is used extensively today, in virtually every sphere of human activity. From coke cans to mobile phones, laptops and household appliances, to automobiles, trains, ships, aircraft and space shuttles, Aluminium is indispensable.

The impact of Aluminum is so profound that the present age can rightly be called “The Age of Aluminum.” Aluminium, a versatile metal, is increasingly finding widespread use, due to its unique qualities.

DURABILITY

Aluminium Roofing being weather-proof and corrosion-resistant ensures lasting and optimal performance.

FLEXIBILITY

Because of its inherent complementary properties, Aluminium can be easily shaped, which gives it unmatched design potential.

LIGHT-WEIGHT

Being lightweight makes Aluminium easier to carry and handle, thus also saving on transportation costs.

STRENGTH

Aluminium Roofing is at once lightweight and strong. Its alloys are as strong as steel, while being one-third in weight.

CORROSIVE RESISTANCE

Its natural oxide coating helps Aluminium to resist harsh weather conditions.

INSULAR

The insulated cladding of aluminium performs better than uninsulated timber cladding, brick, or stone masonry.

RECYCLABILITY

Nearly all of the Aluminium till in use has been recycled. This is because Aluminium is 100% recyclable. This makes it the most environment-friendly metal.

THERMAL EFFICIENCY

Aluminium has excellent thermal insulation and thermal efficiency properties. A factor that comes in handy in commercial structures, through cutting down on high operating costs of air conditioning.

FIRE SAFETY

Aluminium is non-combustible, and since it does not burn, it is indispensable in construction material.

MINIMAL MAINTENANCE

Because of all these latent properties, Aluminium roofing sheets require only minimal maintenanc
